Print dirty printer after cartridge refilling.

Many users of office equipment are faced with the fact that the printer begins to print dirty after refilling the cartridge. How to get rid of this defect in the printing device?

Why the printer prints dirty

This problem can occur for two reasons: due to the cartridge or due to problems with the printer itself. In most cases, poor-quality printing is a consequence of a malfunction of the cartridge.

If your device worked properly, and after refueling there were problems, it is possible:

  • the service center refueled low-quality paint;
  • worn squeegee;
  • there is damage in the drum;
  • optics, charging shaft or processing compartment contaminated.

If after eliminating the above reasons, your printer still prints dirty, then the problem may be hiding in the operation of the device itself. In this case, you need to contact the specialists for diagnosis.

What to do if the cause of the dirty print in the cartridge

If you find white streaks during printing, then it's time to refill the cartridge.

Sometimes there are cases when black stripes appear on paper after refueling, in this case the problem is already in the drum itself or in the doctor blade. To solve this problem, you need to wipe all the parts with a napkin, cleaning them from dust and dirt particles that have accumulated over a long service life. If this does not help, then you should replace the cleaning blade.

ATTENTION! If you are not sure that you can perform this procedure yourself, then you should contact the service center.

It happens that when printing on paper there is a dirty tone - then the problem lies in contaminated optics or the shaft. It is necessary to check the quality of the paint - if it is of doubtful quality or old, then it is necessary to replace it. And when spotting is found during printing, replacement of parts is inevitable.

Also, during printing on paper, stripes may appear along the edges of the sheet, or simply wavy stripes of gray-black color. In this case, this indicates damage to the photodrum and only specialists can eliminate this problem.

Actions in case of problems with the printer

If the test cartridge did not give results and the printer continues to leave stripes on paper, then the problem lies in the work of the office equipment itself.

The cause of dirty printing can be checked using the Stop Test. To do this, you must start printing and disconnect this device from the network during operation. You should do this at a certain point so that the paper is just under the photodrum and does not have time to get into the fixing unit.

If there is no pollution on a sheet of paper, then everything works fine in the operation of the photodrum, and the problem of dirty printing lies in the fixing unit. It is possible that the rubber casing began to peel off, so the knot leaves a dirty tone during printing. To eliminate this defect it is necessary to completely disassemble this part.

Another reason could be the poor condition of the thermal film or Teflon roll. Various kinds of defects can appear on their surface, or a burned coloring matter can accumulate, which leads to this problem. Also, these printer parts may not be hot enough during startup, which also leads to dirty printing.

The problem with the printer may be hiding in the sensor clamp, which is responsible for controlling the temperature or in its external state. If a certain amount of dye is found on the surface of your equipment, it must be carefully cleaned.

One of the reasons for dirty printing may be incorrectly set paper options. If the job is designed for thin paper, and you put a thick, then later the normal operation of the printer will be disrupted.

There are also problems with electronics, but in this case, to correct the situation, it is better to contact the specialists in repairing this equipment.
