Filling the wardrobe in the bedroom

Filling cabinets in the bedroom must be planned carefully. Since it, in addition to everyday clothes, can accommodate various accessories that are used intermittently, bedding sets, shoes, holiday items and various small accessories, such as ties, belts. In general, there is something to think about.

Filling options for wardrobes in the bedroom

The wardrobe in the bedroom, the internal content and photo of which will be presented below, has well-thought out accessories. This ensures its functionality, convenience, space saving, comfort for residents. There are no generally accepted solutions for filling, however, there are a number of recommendations for the rational organization of space, to which the owners should listen:

  1. Decide what exactly they want to store in the bedroom. These will be bed sets, towels and running clothes, or children's clothes and accessories and unused daily wardrobe items and shoes, etc. will be stored there.
  2. To think about how they are going to store these things: folded on shelves or hung on hangers, in hanging drawers, or when using special designs.
  3. Understand whether they want to identify zones, for example, separately for men and women or not.

There are a huge number of options, but a built-in wardrobe, corner or radius, is definitely suitable for the bedroom. Next, consider the options for their configuration.

Corner cabinet filling

A corner cupboard is suitable for a bedroom if it is planned to put a lot of various clothes, things, household items in it. A feature of this design is the angle, often called the "dead zone". The place in the corner will be maximally used if you place things that you need to get infrequently there. You can also optimize this area due to the built-in rotating racks.

Filling the built-in cabinet

The design of the built-in closet is mounted in the niche of the room or along one of the walls. This option is interesting in that the walls of the room serve as side and back panels. Only a facade with doors is installed. Doors are from 2 to 4 and even more. You can fill the built-in closet with various elements and accessories.

Radius cabinet filling

The corner wardrobe in the bedroom, the internal content of which may be different, may have an interesting design. The shape of the doors of the furniture of radius execution is curved, respectively, the internal structure is unusual. In the corner there may be vertical rods, or structures with a rotating mechanism. To maximize the use of the entire space, pantographs of various types are well suited.

What elements are required

Since the bedroom assumes the need for storage of bed sets and clothes, then a large part of the cabinet is occupied by capacious shelves.

Shelves come in different parameters, but their recommended height is thirty centimeters. There will be stacks of several things. The width of the shelves is determined by the width of the doors for maximum accessibility to things.

The wardrobe in the bedroom is hard to imagine without drawers. They are used for sets of linen, socks and other small elements of the wardrobe. It is important only when planning them to choose high-quality guiding mechanisms. They should quietly extend and retract. Mechanisms of arguments which provide independent soft closing proved themselves well. If the family has young children, the drawer blocking device will not interfere.

The design of the pens is also important. Specialists recommend using the model of "hidden" handles, they are practical and do not block the movement of doors along the guides.

Hangers are also a common element of any cabinet. The rods are installed at least two at different heights. One corresponds to the length of coats, dresses, and the other is used for shirts and blouses.

Filling a corner wardrobe in the bedroom with bars of parallel placement relative to the doors has many advantages. They have good visibility, however, this option is suitable for structures with a depth of 60 centimeters. If the cabinet is not deep, then a rod with a perpendicular retractable mount becomes an ideal solution.

The above items relate to the standard content of the wardrobe. But it can also have various special fittings, both budget and premium.

A wardrobe in the bedroom, the internal content of which may be different, is often equipped with pantographs. Thanks to them, getting things becomes much more convenient. Pantograph is a U-shaped structure made of durable metal. It is placed at the very top and is easily lowered by moving a special handle. Pantographs are made in different sizes, but are selected in accordance with the width of the cabinet compartments.

Another interesting solution is a curved hanger, with clothes hooks placed at a certain distance and at different angles.

Practical elements include special devices for trousers, skirts, belts and ties, original shelves for shoes. They provide compact and neat placement of specific things.

The most common type of "shoe" - shelves made of metal mesh, fixed at an angle using brackets. The shoe holders are attached to the inner intermediate wall of the cabinet.

The interior of the wardrobe in the bedroom may have hangers. A hanger for trousers or the so-called "bruntnitsa" is ideal for a wardrobe, it can be easily extended and takes up minimal space. It is a retractable bar on ball guides. It allows you to compactly store many pairs of trousers, very convenient for frequent use.

Devices for ties can also take the form of a rod with hooks or loops. They differ in the number of hooks. Place them on the side panels and occupy a minimum of space. In addition, you can define a drawer for ties, inside you can design small square divisions with partitions.

The built-in wardrobe in the bedroom, the filling options of which may be different, can have a very non-standard design. For example, inside you can place: a TV, a small table with a computer, a ladies dressing table, and a pull-out ironing board. In particular, for the TV there are even several possible options: it can be hung on one of the doors or on the back wall behind the sliding doors or left one of the compartments without a door. It is clear that such a model will cost more than usual.

Cabinet Zoning Rules

A good solution when making a cabinet is to use a zoning technique. This technique involves dividing the space into three zones:

  • The upper level - it can be spacious shelves or mezzanines, where large items will be placed, which are used less often. For example, warm blankets or rugs for guests, hats. Still there it is convenient to store suitcases and backpacks;
  • The average level is an area for everyday wear, respectively, assumes the presence of shelves and rods of various heights for shirts, dresses, trousers, etc. This zone needs to be well thought out: the height of the rods should correspond to the growth of residents so that they do not have to stretch or bend excessively. Clothing should not be wrinkled or interfere with or cling to other clothing when removed and stored. It also must be placed boxes for underwear;
  • The lower level is reserved for boxes with shoes or “shoe racks”, as well as boxes with small items.

Subject to the rules of zoning, you get a roomy and easy-to-use sliding wardrobe.

The bedroom is a place intended for sleeping and relaxing, nothing should disturb and annoy the owners. To create coziness, preference is given to minimalism: only the necessary furniture and no extra clothes and things on the headboard, bedside tables or chest of drawers.
