Modern TVs, light and elegant, can become a real decoration of the room. Due to the fact that they are thin and weigh very little, users very often place them on the wall. However, the appearance can spoil a large number of wires going to the TV receiver, because many different devices are connected to it. It can be a receiver, speaker system, laptop and more. It is also necessary to add a power cable and a wire from a television antenna. There is a need to hide or disguise so many wires.

In order to lay a channel under the wires, you need a hammer or grinder.
Order of execution:
- first you need to mark the place where the gating will be carried out;
- then make some holes;
- along the line of the future channel with a grinder or perforator, all residues of building materials are removed;
- all available wires are laid in the resulting groove and connected to the TV - you should check the tension of the wires and, if necessary, adjust the channel;
- the groove must be laid with gypsum, which is sold in any building materials store;

A simpler method is to clean the cables. However, it will also require a hammer drill or grinder. With their help, you need to make a hole behind the TV and in the place where the wall joins the baseboards. All wires must be inserted through the first hole to hide them behind a sheet of drywall. The second hole is necessary in order to bring the cable to power. Among other things, the baseboards will be hidden by other cords, for example, telephone or from the Internet.
ATTENTION! It is better to use special skirting boards with cable channels. This will prevent possible mechanical damage to the wires.
Decoration of wires from the TV on the wall
The method is simple and does not require large-scale actions.. Why hide the wires if they can be beautifully inserted into the interior? You can do this using the following methods:
- Nozzles made of silicone. Such nozzles come in different colors, which will easily fit them into any interior. There are curly options, for example, in the form of a vine. This option will bring originality to the room.
- Use of plants. You can use both live plants and artificial ones. If you connect imagination, you can make them yourself from improvised means, for example, paper.
- With a well-developed imagination and a sufficient length of wires, they can be twisted by performing a drawing or an abstract pattern on the wall, the main thing is that it fits into the design of the room.
- You can decorate with the help of various stickers or simply by wrapping wires on a lamp or a vase, which are next to the TV.
Using a duct or decorative cable channel
If none of the options is suitable, then you can close the wires using a special box or a decorative cable channel.
Decorative box
This method has several advantages:
- wall integrity is maintained;
- installation is extremely simple and takes very little time;
- organic design that fits easily into any interior;
- This option is completely fireproof.
It is usually made of plastic or metal.
Installation of the box is as follows:
- First you need to measure the required length;
- fix the box on the wall using self-tapping screws - in places where it is necessary, cuts are made;
- after installation, the box can be painted so that it fits better into the interior.

These boxes can be selected in accordance with the design of the room.
- Loft. Suitable designs made in the form of brickwork.
- Classic design. The ideal solution would be panels made of wood or its imitation.
- Modern style, minimalism or hi-tech. You can use metal pipes by fixing them to the wall.
Cable channel
Using a cable channel is a pretty quick way to mask wires. However, the result is not very aesthetic in appearance. Such channels can be made independently or purchased ready-made in the store. The most common option presented on the counter is a regular cable channel made of white plastic. At the top of the structure is a lid that locks in place with latches.
The most important thing when installing a cable channel is to choose the right color. It should not merge with the room, but be designed in the same color scheme. There are channels made of MDF, but it can be very difficult to meet them on store shelves. At the same time, this option will be an ideal solution, as it easily fits into the design of the room.
The rarest look is made of metal. It has an attractive appearance and will look good in a room designed in the styles of minimalism, loft, hi-tech or modern.
