The Hugge-style interior is based on the Danish philosophy of life with the same name. Serenity, comfort, tranquility - its main characteristics. The interior in this design seems like a sweet and warm haven on cold days.
Hugge style bedroom decor
In Denmark, from November to March, people prefer not to go outside. Therefore, the atmosphere of the bedroom is created so that it is obvious that the homebody lives here.
- The overall style is simple, homely, warm, without unnecessary details and trifles.
- Compared to other styles, the hugg is a mixture of minimalism, country and a bit of loft theme.
- Light colors prevail: white in all shades, light beige, light and pastel tones of brown, blue and blue.
- For decoration, natural materials are used: stone, tile, parquet for the floor, wood panels for the walls.
Reference! Wallpaper in this style is almost never used. They can be glued to one of the walls as a color spot.
The importance of light and lights

Furniture can be placed in the middle of the room, if its dimensions allow. But if the room is small, it is placed along the walls, leaving more free space for activity.
Important! No matter how much furniture is in the room, its arrangement should give maximum space and air. Narrow aisles and barely opening doors are contraindicated!
It is not customary to allocate separate zones for children, the elderly, adult family members. For example, a children's corner can be made directly on the mezzanine of the parent bedroom, and the dining table can be put in the living room to the sofa.
Between rooms, all doors are kept open (with rare exceptions). And in this state, separate rooms seem to turn into one. Furniture does not interfere with these transformations. Danes often have furniture elements in one room continuing or complementing those in the other.
Additional items
The feeling of comfort is created due to cute elements and additional things. The most popular are:

- beautiful pots with potted flowers;
- beautiful pottery.
Beautiful mirrors in old frames, fireplaces, carpets on the floor are also common items of decor. When decorating a room, it is important not to clutter it excessively. The Danes prefer to buy few things, but choose high-quality and expensive accessories. There should be at least such things. Comfort in a spacious and clean space without unnecessary details and trifles is what real Danish comfort is.
