How to print from a flash drive on a printer

The operation of the printer provides a quick removal of information from the electronic form (stored in the base of the computer) in print format. Currently, various models are used that differ in printing method, inference parameters and quality of the documents received. If you wish, you can choose a suitable model for fast high-quality printing of documents at home and in the office.

Typically, documents are taken from the computer base, then transferred to a special text editor and sent to print. But sometimes the necessary document or folder is in another database, so they need to be quickly moved. In this case, a special removable drive (flash drive) is used. With it, you can quickly transfer information and print it out using the associated equipment with the printer.

If you have not previously encountered this method of work, use the detailed instructions. With it, you can transfer and print any file in the computer system. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Connect your computer and printer to a power source and synchronize the devices with each other.
  2. Insert the USB flash drive into the USB connector on the computer panel (if there is a connector in the printer, you can connect to it directly).
  3. The technique will start automatically searching for files on the external drive. After that, you will be entered into the "work parameters".
  4. Then a list of found documents will appear on the control panel. Using the settings, edit the basic settings, select the paper type, image format ... Go to the file preparation menu for printing.
  5. Select the desired folder from the list provided, then click on the "print" button

If you work with a computer, you need to transfer the necessary document to a text editor, format its appearance and send it to print. After that, an imprint will appear on the paper sheet. When completing the work, select a careful removal of the device from the connector.

IMPORTANT: When transferring information from the device, activate the antivirus to avoid infection by a virus program.

Another useful feature of a flash drive is money storage. In addition to text information, e-wallets can be stored on the carrier. Users recommend storing their savings on removable media. To do this, you need to create a special folder and transfer the e-wallet address to it. To do this is quite simple:

  1. Insert the USB flash drive into the USB port, open it in a new dialog box.
  2. Create a special file or folder named "wallet".
  3. Download the address of your wallet in the zip document version.
  4. After that, transfer it to the right place.
  5. Remember to encrypt the file path and provide a check for sharing. After that, you can open the wallet from any computer.

IMPORTANT: Keeping money always carries a risk, always watch your flash drive, periodically check its status.

For convenience and safety of printing, we offer the following tips:

  • Use drive memory up to 8GB.
  • Make copies on the desktop in case of loss of media.
  • Use passwords and additional security measures to prevent information leaks.
  • Check the compliance of the selected file format.
  • Do not insert the device into foreign computers without antivirus running.
