Is it possible to put a microwave on a microwave

The number of household appliances in the kitchen is increasing every year. This is due to the entry into the market of a wide variety of electronic meat grinders, apparatus for drying vegetables, huge food processors and more. And often in a small kitchen they simply have nowhere to put.

A modern housewife just can not do without a microwave, and often the question arises, where to put a microwave, if there is practically no space left? Very many put it on the refrigerator or on an existing microwave. The question of the neighborhood of electrical appliances may worry owners of small cafes with small kitchens, where there is not enough space.

The same issue is often discussed by residents of communal apartments, where the appliances of several housewives are located in the same kitchen space. Also at large enterprises there is a kitchen for feeding employees with a variety of microwaves and other appliances. With such a close arrangement of household appliances, you should first think about fire safety.

What to look for

It should be noted that for each microwave model, the ventilation holes are in different parts: bottom, top or side. When installing, remember that ventilation must not be closed, air must circulate freely in the openings.

Otherwise, the microwave may simply burn out due to excessive heat. The free distance to another device should be at least 20-30 cm for the top cover, for the back - 10 cm, for the side clearance should be at least 5-10 cm.

Installation tips

Two microwave ovens can perfectly coexist, because each has its own case, and function only in it. The only thing is to carefully inspect the devices, and place them so that the ventilation openings do not intersect.

For a solid installation, put a rubber mat between them so that the top microwave cannot move or fall. Without such a layer, it is possible to damage the thin casing of the CB furnace. It is recommended to turn them on one by one.

IMPORTANT! It is forbidden to place a microwave oven near a heating radiator or an electric and gas stove!

When installing on a refrigerator, all ventilation regulations must be observed and openings not covered. If it cannot be installed in another way, you can put the stove on a special stand or legs. In the instruction manual there is no information indicating that you should not put the microwave on the refrigerator or microwave.

TIP! Going for a purchase, immediately determine the place for the SV-furnace. They come in different sizes, and may not fit where you wanted to put it initially.

Safety precautions

  • When installing the device, take care of the proximity of the outlet; it is better not to use an extension cord;
  • Do not put it near flowers; emitted waves can destroy the plant;
  • Placing the oven on the refrigerator, will buy a heat-insulating mat;
  • Do not put the microwave from the very edge, otherwise one uneven movement may catch the device and it will fall to the floor and be damaged;
  • It is not recommended to install CB ovens on refrigerators of high height. It will be inconvenient to put and even more so get warmed-up food from there. You will need to stand on a chair or bandwagon, and such manipulations can lead to a burn or fall.

Where is the best place to place a microwave oven?

  • If there is not enough space in the kitchen, you can install the microwave on the bracket;
  • Also, many place it inside the cabinet, the main thing is that it does not stand close to the walls;
  • Often the place on the windowsill is occupied only by flowers. Take them away, and set the stove;
  • Standard SV-ovens are placed on the countertop.
